Matthews Presbyterian Hospital Matthews
Reception March 11, 2010 from 7 PM - 9 PM

MAG Presbyterian Hospital Show

MAG members came out by the numbers to put on a great show of their artistic abilities. Thanks to all the volunteers who make this a very successful show. There were 42 artists who put over 80 painting up for the show. The volunteers did an outstanding job and a lot of hours to put the show together. There will be something for everyone to enjoy. Members should be proud of their art since it shows just how talented MAG members really are. This show gives each artist who participated exposure for their art. Shows are one way that artists of every level get to showcase their work which might not otherwise get this exposure. The show will be seen by over 30,000 visitors to the Hospital. This is one of the most successfuls shows in the Charlotte area. During the show set up there were interested art buyers taking information on the artwork - We are looking forward to a very exciting show.

Spread the news there 's a lot of excellent artwork for sale and portions of each sale goes to the Presbyterian Hospital Matthews

The reception is open to the public and a great way to meet the artists, enjoy entertainment, socialize, see and buy some excellent artwork, and enjoy food and meet local folks appreciating the arts!

MAG MARCH 2010 Watercolor Workshop

MAG Watercolor Workshop

After many delays due to heath reason MAG finally had its watercolor workshop featuring Richard Siegel. Richard who is an excellent teacher as well as an award winning artist. The workshop was full of excited artists who learned many new techniques which will help artists become better painters. The comments by almost every participant was when can we have him back. Everyone was well pleased with the workshop and we plant to have him back in the summer for another workshop. Attached you will find photos of the class and individual artist hard at work. There was a lot of great art produced in a very short time.
